Gas dryers have two or more gas valve solenoid coils. The gas valve solenoids open the gas valve ports to allow gas to flow into the burner assembly. If a gas valve solenoid fails, the dryer won’t heat. To determine if one or more of the gas valve solenoids has failed, check the igniter. SPIN SPEED This washer automatically selects the spin speed based on the cycle selected. The preset speeds can be changed. Not all spin speeds are available with all cycles. • Faster spin speeds mean shorter dry times, but may increase wrinkling in your load. • Slower spin speeds mean less wrinkling, but will leave your load more damp. 1 1 ... STEP 1: CHECK THE LINT SCREEN. A blocked lint screen could be the reason your dryer is not drying. Regularly cleaning your dryer and lint screen may help.
