I didn't see one as being better than the other in the accuracy department. The gen1 piston barrels cycled cheap, low pressure stuff better than the gen2 in my experience. Both my 12.5” specwar and 12” shovelnose run great. Just use hot ammo hold ur breath. Piston feels the same for all ammo and the DI varies between loads.
